In an article from The Salt Lake Tribune dated 06/10/2008 and titled “Mormon and Black: Grappling with a racist past”.  I read the story of a new bride in The Salt Lake City Temple. There was an elderly man who saw Tamu Smith, the new bride, and asked aloud:

. . .  what a Ni**er was doing there.

But instead of chastise this man the Temple workers defended him, saying he didn’t know better.

This was fifteen years after the June 8th Revelation mind you, in the very same Temple where that Revelation came out of.

Now, I don’t believe every word that come from within the church but I believe that there are some really great people that attend. Just as I believe that there are some really great and good people that don’t attend.

It is a known fact that Jesus shared wine with his disciples shortly before his death.  In parallel, Joseph also enjoyed a jug of wine with some of his believers.

A Young man in my ward blessed the sacrament this passed Sunday while wearing sunglasses. The first person to talk to him about it was the EQ President in 3rd hour.

You know it’s true . . . some people have differing motives in joining the Church. Even though I know what I knew before joining the church . . . I joined anyway.

I taught a Sunday School class last Sunday. One of the students stated that the Hill Cumorah and the battle that took place there was in Latin (South) America. While this letter form a GA states it differs from what this student (15years old) and my sister-in-law thinks.

The Great Global Warming Swindle really made the difference. I know we are to be frugal in our dealings with the earth God gave us but I don’t think God would give us an earth that could so easily destroyed.

And taken what we know of the scriptures God not man will determine what is done to the earth or the prophecies are false.

It comes down to . . . . Is Al Gore a lier or are the prophecies of the New Testament false? There can only be one or the other and not both.

Even though I don’t watch American Idle Idol I was surprised to find out there are two Mormons this season. It was great to find out that last seasons Survivor winner is a Gay Mormon.
