True story. I let my son watch the Backyardigans one morning. They were having a Tea Party. I started to wonder. Is this a harmless Tea Party. I told myself yes. Why boycott a children’s program just because they are having a Tea Party. Have we as Mormons gone too far if we don’t let our children watch programs that feature Tea Parties?

While writing a latter to my ex-wife asking permission to have my son sealed to my current wife and myself, I thought:

This would be a whole lot easier if the missionaries went by her house an gave her the lessons. This way I wouldn’t have to write out a 10 page summary of Mormonism 101 thru Mormonism 210.

You have to admit that Mormonism is a lot of doctrine to take in. Even life long members are not fully schooled or have a thorough knowledge of Full Mormon Doctrine. Sometimes it’s enough to make your head hurt.

Isn’t it funny how we can all relate to this cartoon. Even though it is a wonderful blessing to have children, sometimes we are not earthly ready for them. And the one about:

“All of our furniture is made from food storage.”

That one is a classic.
