Sometimes we make the things we call evil or of the devil. Someone once told me.

People are going to be surprised when they find out that the devil didn’t do all that we give him credit for.

In my opinion there is too much emphasis on getting new members into the church and not enough energy on keeping the ones who are inactive. The inactives in the Church out number the actives in the Church. Their are counted as members why not count them in the seats on Sunday.

Maybe it was the Tur-Duc-Hen he ate for Thanksgiving or it was the influence of his children’s rap music, but either way Bishop Digby has fallen off of his rocker.

Researching Jewish dietary restriction the other day I found a couple of interesting facts.1 One being some Kosher (Kashurt) foods are foods that are never mixed with certain other foods.Which gave Latte Day Saints a wonderful opportunity to write this Blogtoon. I have heard the Mormon analogy of milk before meat. Meaning: You must get through the “soft” things of Mormonism before you can start to deal with the harsher or “Hard” substance of Mormonism.

Once a Missionary placed some harder truths before me during a “Milk” lesson. I believe I handled the Non-Kosher teachings very well. His companion didn’t look too thrilled during the process though.

  1. The other interesting fact being the children of Israel were Bedouin. If shrimp was transported from the ocean to where they were living, in the middle of the desert, there would be no way of keeping it fresh and much of the population would perished from eating spoiled seafood. This may have been Gods reason for them not to consume Shellfish. []

It was written that. . . . “If a person is engaged in a practice which troubles him enough to ask about it, he should discontinue it.”

Official Declaration of the First Presidency of the Church, January 5th, 1982.

It was also written . . . “Please also beware of unnatural sexual acts that are just as immoral, if not worse, than traditional fornication or adultery.”

Articles of Faith #1

Today we embark on a new journey. Latte Day Saints has a new edition “Verses”. It will be published every Friday and contain selected verses or quotes from the Book of Mormon, other Church Scriptures and quotes from church leaders.

This is the first of 13 “Articles of Faith” of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They were written by Joseph Smith Jr. 2 years before his death.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints issued a stoppage to the practice of Polygamy in 1890. At that time the current Prophet was a practicing polygamist and continued to practice until his death while hiding in exile from a government issued. Some say the practice didn
