It is true. I don’t get that excitement as a 11 Year Old Leader any longer. It’s the parents mostly. I have been a leader for over a year and just last week found that I should be meeting with the Primary President. I’ve never even talked to her. And yes we’ve been in the same room at the same time. And because of the lack of leadership (Cub Master was also the 11 year old assistant for months), the nex 11 year old will be going to another ward.

I have to remind myself that I am doing this for free, on my own. This is Preparation of the Preparatory Priesthood. How must more important can that be.

I believe we are all in this world for the same things. The 13th Article of Faith can be had of most religions. And after all we are all God’s Children even if you believe in the Goddess Mother or no God at all.

The Word of Wisdom forbids Mormons to use “hot drinks” (interpreted to be coffee and tea). Although Joseph Smith Jr. found the Golden Plates on the Hill Cumorah in upstate New York, there are many who believe this is not the Hill Cumorah as stated in the Book of Mormon.

It is a highly publicized contention that Tabasco, Mexico is where the real Hill is located. The coffee industry in Mexico employs over 3 million people and is the worlds second largest traded commodity. Seeing that coffee is a giant industry in the very land that the “Real” Hill Cumorah is located, I see it only fitting that the church change their official drink from Hot Coco to Coffee. “The Official Native Drink of our Mother Land”
